A busy January

Hungry Head Studios

January 2015 was a busy month at the headquarters of the Australian Potters’ Marks project with holiday makers visiting the gallery and any spare time spent in the garden mowing, edging and weeding after all the rain we have had. I was therefore surprised to find that we had added 22 new topics during the month. Many of these have been contributed by members and we are also benefiting from crossovers with the two Australian pottery groups on Facebook. Among the topics I found time to add was one for Noel Flood, prepared with the help of his daughter. In a new initiative, one of our members has started a sub-project on the Bimbimi Ceramic Study Group. We now have a topic for the group with a brief history of its activities and a list of its members over time. Some of these are already linked to existing topics and we will add more as information comes to hand. The group topic has been added to the alphabetic and state lists and there is now also a Groups page on the website.
