Is there an Australian Pottery in Queensland that used a printed oval makers mark with “stoneware’ at the top and a black kangaroo in the middle? The printing underneath is hard to read …..something pottery and what looks like the beginning of a phone number 07 38…… Possibly a pottery near Brisbane? The vase I purchased secondhand has lovely drip glazing with pastel mauves, blues and some areas left unglazed. I’d love to know the maker ..

Hi Susan, The Old Ballarat Pottery has a mark like this. I don’t know of a Queensland pottery using a similar mark.

Hello,
I haven’t been on the site for many years now but I found an amazing statement patter and wanted to share it. It’s such an incredible piece that is signed with what looks like a MT or TM. I found the piece in an opshop in Buderim QLD. If interested let me know and I can email you some pictures. I’m so sorry I’ve forgotten how the site works,
Yours kindly,
Kellie Needham
